When you want to listen to your favourite music outside it’s vital that you have the very best speakers you can buy. How many times have you sat in your garden with your IPod docked on speakers you can’t actually hear? Or turned the music up only for the music to be distorted by a poor-power volume? The worse thing that can happen is when you’re holding a party and all your friends are outside but the music is completely overwhelmed by people talking, so a decent set of wireless outdoor speakers should be number one on your list!
One of my favourite pastimes is sitting outside listening to all my latest downloads so owning amazing wireless speakers is paramount. Luckily for you I’ve done all the research so you don’t need to do anything. I’ve used Amazon.com as it’s my go-to for such devices and the consumer reviews are very helpful and informative. Here are my top three wireless outdoor speakers which are portable enough to travel wherever you want and give you a phenomenal sound experience. Of course if you want to get your backyard sound system to the next level you should read our post about outdoor subwoofers.
Monster Wireless Outdoor Speakers 40 Watts
Well, all I can say about these speakers is WOW, they are impressive. Not only do they look great but they sound completely awesome. In stylish black with a harlequin design they literally rock. You can purchase them on Amazon.com for $179.99 and you will never look back – just warn your neighbors! These speakers give 40 watts of power for the ultimate audio performance and they are wireless so easily connect using all the technology you need, Bluetooth, EZ-Play, NFC etc.
They’re also weather resistant so you can take them with you wherever you want – the beach, the backyard, the pool…they give 5 hours of amazing sound so you don’t have to worry about your music running out and for even more convenience, they are wall mountable so can be placed out of the way indoors when you’re not using them outside – perfect.
Be prepared for LOUD music and the perfect entertainment choice, even if you turn the volume right up there’s no compromise on the quality of sound – they get my vote!
Sound Appeal Wireless Outdoor Speakers
If you’re looking for something more compact than the Monster wireless speakers, the Sound Appeal pair will give you great audio. They operate via Bluetooth and give 60 watts of power offering superb sound. The Sound Appeal wireless outdoor speakers are also weatherproof so great for different venues such as the beach, pool, park etc. and they look smart and sleek in black.
Retailing at $189 they are slightly more expensive than the Monsters but the size is easier to port. You’ll be impressed with the fidelity too and these speakers boast a 5.25” woofer driver so the bass is never affected no matter what volume you crank up!
Easy to install and link up with Bluetooth they might not be cheap but they give superb quality. Just one word of caution – don’t leave them outdoors if the weather forecast is rainy, they are weather resistant but not weather proof!
Sound Appeal Bluetooth Outdoor Rock Speaker
These are the coolest looking speakers I’ve ever seen and look stupendous outside because they are designed to resemble rocks! They are pretty expensive though at $229 in online stores but they give excellent sound quality and they are truly eye-catching. Expect 40 watts of power and a class D amplifier, the wireless connection works for up to 100 feet from the iPhone or a similar tablet. Use them anywhere from your backyard to your basement and even more impressive is their ability to withstand extreme temperatures so they are weather resistant.
As they are grey slate and resemble large rocks they blend perfectly well in an outdoor setting. Boasting a 6.5” woofer you get outstanding sound, with no interruption and quality bass with absolutely no interference. Expect an outstanding sound experience, a good looking product and they’re so easy to set up you could be rocking outside at your party in minutes.
So there you have my top three – if I was to choose just one I’d go with the Monster Wireless Outdoor Speakers simply because they are the least expensive of the three offering a phenomenal sound experience which lasts for hours.
